This work is titled Analogue Slot-car Drone Machine. It consists of a toy racetrack sequencer that has two cars racing around it. The difference in car speed and the distance traveled by each car creates a random pattern within a finite loop. In each side of the main track array hangs a microphone. The signals sent by the microphones change in relation to the cars position on the track (i.e. one car by a microphone creates a different audio signal than two by a microphone). These signals are sent to effects processors run by two artists. The artists receive both sounds from the sequencer and the sounds that have been manipulated and sent from the other musician. The musicians add effects and control input output levels creating an always evolving unpredictable composition.
